Fig box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Fig is allowed to say
Fig in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Fig in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: fig in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig box mod really costs in Nouméa

How we tested fig in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does fig in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
