Fig mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Fig is allowed to say
Fig mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on fig: 11 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested fig in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On fig the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.65 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
