Fig pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with fig in New Caledonia
If you are looking at fig in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Fig in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig pod kit really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested fig in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is fig legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.86 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
