Frozen box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.97 per 10 ml.
The honest read on frozen: 20 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen box mod really costs in Nouméa
Frozen box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested frozen in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.97 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
