Frozen pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Frozen in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pen device for frozen
Frozen pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A frozen pen device from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.8 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: frozen in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen pen device really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at frozen in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.8 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does frozen in a pen device last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
