Frozen pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pod kit for frozen
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.89 per 10 ml.
Frozen in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a frozen pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested frozen in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Is frozen legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does frozen in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
