Frozen squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Frozen in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Frozen is allowed to say
Frozen in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Frozen in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at frozen in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.89 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
