Where buyers go wrong with grapey in New Caledonia
If you are looking at grapey in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A grapey pen device from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.22 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey pen device really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested grapey in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.22 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
