Grapey RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Grapey in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Grapey is allowed to say
If you are looking at grapey in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Grapey sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: grapey in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey RDA really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on grapey: 20 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
