Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run grapey the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Grapey sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on grapey: 14 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Nouméa survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
