Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Graphite in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: graphite in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite pen device really costs in Nouméa
A graphite pen device from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.53 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested graphite in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does graphite in a pen device last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
