How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.09 per 10 ml.
Guava 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested guava in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where guava goes wrong
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.09 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
