Guava prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Guava in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a prefilled pod for guava
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.66 per 10 ml.
The honest read on guava: 15 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on guava: 15 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.66 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does guava in a prefilled pod last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
