Guava in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
We run guava the same way in Nouméa: same refill pack, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Guava refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Guava refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested guava in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where guava goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.29 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How long does guava in a refill pack last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
