Herbal in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Herbal 30 ml shortfill here
The honest read on herbal: 22 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A herbal 30 ml shortfill from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.02 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested herbal in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.02 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF50 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
