Herbal box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Herbal in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Herbal box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal box mod really costs in Nouméa
We run herbal the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested herbal in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.11 per 10 ml.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Is herbal legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does herbal in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
