Herbal mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Herbal in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: herbal in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
We run herbal the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested herbal in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Is herbal legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On herbal the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.91 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
