Herbal pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Herbal in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Herbal pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: herbal in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal pod kit really costs in Nouméa
We run herbal the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested herbal in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.95 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
