Herbal pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Herbal in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Herbal pod kit here
If you are looking at herbal in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run herbal the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: herbal in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal pod kit really costs in Nouméa
A herbal pod kit from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.22 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested herbal in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.22 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
