Herbal starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Herbal in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the herbal habit
Herbal starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A herbal starter kit from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.62 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested herbal in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
