What the label on Herbal is allowed to say
The honest read on herbal: 19 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.49 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal starter kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at herbal in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested herbal in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On herbal the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.49 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does herbal in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
