Herbal starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Herbal in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Herbal sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.71 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Herbal starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested herbal in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On herbal the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.71 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
