Herbal vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Herbal in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
If you are looking at herbal in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run herbal the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.75 per 10 ml.
How we tested herbal in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.75 per 10 ml.
