Iced 10 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Iced in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.75 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: iced in Nouméa works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Iced in a 10 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested iced in a 10 ml bottle
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where iced goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 10 ml bottle.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
Is iced legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
