Iced 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Iced in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on iced: 23 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.98 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested iced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where iced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
Is iced legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
