Iced 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Iced in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What iced costs in Nouméa
Iced in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.0 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested iced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where iced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.0 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for iced in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
