Iced cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with iced in New Caledonia
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.52 per 10 ml.
A iced cartomizer from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: iced in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Iced in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested iced in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where iced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.52 per 10 ml.
