Iced mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.41 per 10 ml.
Iced in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at iced in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested iced in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where iced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.41 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
