Iced pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pod kit for iced
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Iced pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: iced in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested iced in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.29 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Is iced legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.29 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF59 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
