Iced RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.21 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested iced in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where iced goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
How long does iced in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
