Lemon pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Lemon in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
The honest read on lemon: 10 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A lemon pod kit from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.08 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: lemon in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon pod kit really costs in Nouméa
We run lemon the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lemon in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does lemon in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.08 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
