Coil life, liquid cost and the lemon habit
Lemon RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Lemon RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon RDA really costs in Nouméa
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.82 per 10 ml.
How we tested lemon in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.
