How to tell a good zero-nicotine bottle from a repack
We run lemon the same way in Nouméa: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

The short version: lemon in Nouméa works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
A lemon zero-nicotine bottle from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested lemon in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
How long does lemon in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is lemon legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
