Licorice box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Licorice in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Licorice in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: licorice in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice box mod really costs in Nouméa
Licorice in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested licorice in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.93 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does licorice in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
