Licorice cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Licorice in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Licorice cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: licorice in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.12 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
