How we tested Licorice mesh tank here
A licorice mesh tank from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.33 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.33 per 10 ml.
The short version: licorice in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
A licorice mesh tank from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.33 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested licorice in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Nouméa survives.
