Licorice vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Licorice in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a vape pen for licorice
We run licorice the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A licorice vape pen from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.69 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice vape pen really costs in Nouméa
A licorice vape pen from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.69 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested licorice in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Nouméa survives.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
How long does licorice in a vape pen last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
