Lime box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What lime costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Lime in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: lime in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime box mod really costs in Nouméa
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.43 per 10 ml.
How we tested lime in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lime goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.43 per 10 ml.
