Lime box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Lime box mod here
The honest read on lime: 11 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Lime in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime box mod really costs in Nouméa
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.03 per 10 ml.
How we tested lime in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.03 per 10 ml.
