Lime prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Lime in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Lime is allowed to say
If you are looking at lime in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Lime prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.39 per 10 ml.
How we tested lime in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
Is lime legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does lime in a prefilled pod last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
