Lime RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.61 per 10 ml.
The short version: lime in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime RDA really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at lime in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested lime in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Is lime legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
How long does lime in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
