Lime starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Lime in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
If you are looking at lime in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime starter kit really costs in Nouméa
We run lime the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lime in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where lime goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.93 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lime the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.93 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
