Coil life, liquid cost and the mango habit
If you are looking at mango in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Mango in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mango sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Mango in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mango in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a mango bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mango goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.59 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How long does mango in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is mango legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does mango taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mango blend itself harsh.
