Mango vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Mango in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mango habit
We run mango the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long mango tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mango vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Mango prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.32 per 10 ml.
How we tested mango in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mango goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mango in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does mango taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mango blend itself harsh.
How long does mango in a vape pen last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mango the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.32 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
