Melon 10 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Melon in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 10 ml bottle for melon
The honest read on melon: 6 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at melon in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested melon in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where melon goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is melon legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On melon the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.28 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does melon in a 10 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
