Melon refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
Melon in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.92 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon refill pack really costs in Nouméa
A melon refill pack from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.92 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
