Melon refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Melon in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The honest read on melon: 7 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon refill pack really costs in Nouméa
We run melon the same way in Nouméa: same refill pack, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested melon in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where melon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for melon in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
Is melon legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
