Melon vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
We run melon the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon vape pen really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested melon in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On melon the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.51 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does melon in a vape pen last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
