Mint box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Mint in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Mint box mod here
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint box mod really costs in Nouméa
Mint in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested mint in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mint goes wrong
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.35 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How long does mint in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.35 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
