Mint mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Mint in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The honest read on mint: 24 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
We run mint the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.21 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.21 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
